Privacy policy
MV Renovations Inc. respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can have it removed. It follows British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
When you request an estimate or work with us we collect your name, email address, phone number, the address and details of the property, a description of the work you want, and any photos you upload of the space. During a project we also keep messages, estimates, change orders and payment records.
Why we collect it
We use this information only to prepare an accurate estimate, arrange a site visit, carry out and document the work, communicate with you, and keep the business records required by law. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your photos for marketing unless you give us permission first.
Where it is stored
Your information and photos are stored with our cloud hosting and email providers on secure, access-controlled servers, and our database is configured so each customer can only see their own records. Some providers may process data outside Canada; where that happens the information stays protected by contractual safeguards and industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
Who can see it
Only Matteo and authorized MV Renovations team members can view your request. We share details with a trade or supplier only when it is needed to complete your project.
How long we keep it
Estimate requests that do not become projects are kept for up to two years. Completed project records, including invoices and warranty-related documents, are kept for seven years to meet tax and warranty obligations. Photos are deleted sooner on request.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email matteo@mvrenovations.ca or call 604 360 5634 and we will respond within 30 days. Deletion requests are honoured except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses cookies only to keep you signed in. If website analytics are turned on you will see a banner asking for your consent first, and analytics cookies are not set unless you accept.
